Terms of Service

I. General provisions

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the tattoobook.bg website and platform ("TattooBook", "the Platform"), operated by "R Software" Ltd., UIC 175315897 ("the Company", "we").

By creating an account or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

II. Definitions

  • "Client" means a user who browses artists or studios and books appointments through the Platform.
  • "Artist" means a user who offers tattoo, piercing or related services through a profile on the Platform, whether independently or as part of a Studio.
  • "Studio" means a business listing on the Platform under which one or more Artists operate.
  • "Booking" means an appointment request made by a Client to an Artist through the Platform, and its confirmation, rescheduling or cancellation.
  • "Content" means any text, image, review or other material a user submits to or through the Platform, including portfolio photos and profile information.

III. Description of the service

TattooBook is a booking platform that connects Clients with independent Artists and Studios. The Company does not perform tattoo, piercing or any other body-art services, is not a party to the agreement formed between a Client and an Artist when a Booking is confirmed, and does not control the price, technique, materials, hygiene practices or outcome of any service booked through the Platform.

Each Artist and Studio is solely responsible for the services they advertise and perform, for holding any licences or health permits required by Bulgarian law, and for their own cancellation, rescheduling and pricing policies.

IV. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to create an account. Bulgarian law additionally restricts tattooing and piercing of minors — Artists and Clients remain responsible for complying with it independently of these Terms.
  • You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold or transferred.

V. Bookings

  • Making a Booking through the Platform is free of charge for both Clients and Artists.
  • A confirmed Booking is a direct arrangement between the Client and the Artist. Price, deposits, session length, cancellation and no-show policies are set by the Artist and communicated to the Client directly.
  • Bookings can be rescheduled or cancelled from your account, subject to the Artist's own cancellation policy.
  • Any dispute over a completed or missed appointment, payment made directly to the Artist, or the quality of a service is between the Client and the Artist; the Company may assist in good faith but is not obliged to mediate or resolve it.

VI. TattooBook Plus subscription

  • TattooBook Plus is an optional paid subscription available to Artist accounts, offered as a way to support the Platform. Plus does not currently unlock additional Platform features; where Plus features are introduced, existing subscribers receive them at no extra cost.
  • Plus is billed monthly at the price shown at checkout, processed securely by Stripe. The Company does not store your card details.
  • The subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; access continues until the end of the paid period, and no partial refunds are given for the remainder of that period.
  • The Company may change Plus pricing or features going forward. Where required by law, existing subscribers will be notified in advance of any price increase.

VII. Content you submit

  • You retain ownership of the Content you submit (portfolio photos, reviews, profile text). By submitting it, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and distribute it on the Platform and in its marketing, for as long as your Content remains on the Platform.
  • You confirm that you own or have permission to use any Content you submit, and that it does not infringe a third party's rights.
  • The Company may remove Content that violates these Terms or applicable law, without prior notice.

VIII. Acceptable use

When using the Platform you agree not to:

  • make fraudulent, abusive or repeatedly missed Bookings;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with an Artist or Studio;
  • scrape, copy or reuse Platform data beyond normal browsing, or interfere with its normal operation;
  • harass, threaten or discriminate against another user.

IX. Limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by Bulgarian law, the Company is not liable for the quality, safety, legality or outcome of any tattoo, piercing or related service booked through the Platform, for any health consequence arising from such a service, or for any loss arising from a Booking not being honoured by either party.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory Bulgarian consumer-protection law.

X. Suspension and termination

The Company may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, provides false information, or is used fraudulently. You may close your account at any time from your dashboard settings.

XI. Changes to these Terms

The Company may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect a change in the law or in the Platform's features. The updated version will be published on this page; continued use of the Platform after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of it.

XII. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Bulgarian law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Bulgarian courts.
